Murder at the Houghton Lake Playhouse

I had a busy day going to the doctor, stopping at the bank, the library and the Houghton Lake Chamber of Commerce.

The last one being a surprise because I found out about a Murder Mystery night at the Houghton Lake Playhouse on May 13. This one has a twist. You come as a certain character. Much like the home mystery games popular in the 90's, only on a grander scale. We're talking maybe a hundred characters.

You get your character assignment when you purchase your ticket(s). The setting is a circus getting ready to leave and move on to the next town. This is the celebration dinner which, of course, ends in murder.

You should dress according to your character and will be given an identity sheet with some hints to drop to others and some to keep secret.

Here's the twist. You may be the murderer and not even know it.

The murder mystery happens at the Playhouse on May 13 (Friday), arrive for check in between 6 pm and 7 pm, cost for a ticket is $25 single/$40 couple. In keeping with the theme, dinner includes circus type fare.
