Day 169
I've been over to Reedsburg and Backus Lake, with the same results at both. Nothing is biting just yet.
I haven't tried Houghton and probably won't until May when my brother has his pontoon boat put in for the season.
The water is still cold and the last two weeks the air temperature has been below average. The vegetation hasn't really started growing so there's no cover for the fish to congregate.
I haven't read or heard of anyone doing much better.
They should start biting soon.
