Day 339
So I have a copy of the latest Ghostbusters video. I have heard all of the bad press. Mostly being blamed on the fact that they went with four women instead of men. So I decided to watch it and see for myself. I mean as long as it's a good remake I'm fine with the cast gender reversal.
I have to say this is just plain. It has nothing to do with the cast. It's the script and possibly the directing. Also the special effects lag behind the original, which is near impossible considering the difference in special effects between 1984 and 2016.
I had hopes for the remake. But I just don't think it lives up to the original.
