Day 303
Labor Day weekend is over and things have quieted down a little bit. I went out to the store and there was no one there. I loved it.
We still have the Firemen's Memorial weekend coming this month but that will be nothing compared to last weekend. Soon peace and small town living will return to Houghton Lake for another nine months until next summer. Until then this town will slow down and rest up.
